Lead Production Associate – 3rd Shift

Position Overview:
The Lead Production Associate plays a key role in maintaining the organization, accuracy, and safety of the warehouse operations at Proper Beverage Co. This position is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring proper execution of orders, and supporting both inventory and logistics functions as needed. The Lead Production Supervisor will supervise and train warehouse team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, correctly, and in compliance with company standards. Additionally, this role serves as the backup to the Production Supervisor and is expected to step in to support or manage production activities when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Organization & Safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment
- Promote and enforce safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal standards
- Execution of Production Orders
- Ensure production orders are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with scheduling requirements
- Verify that all incoming and outgoing materials related to production are properly documented and meet quality standards
- Team Supervision & Training
- Manage warehouse staff schedules, priorities, and daily assignments
- Ensure warehouse staff are trained in proper procedures, safety protocols, and operational expectations
- Provide support, coaching, and performance feedback to warehouse employees
- Cross-Departmental Support
- Assist the Inventory team with cycle counts, inventory tracking, and material reconciliation as needed
- Support the Logistics team with loading/unloading schedules, outbound coordination, and internal movement of goods
- Production Backup Support
- Act as the backup to the Production Supervisor during breaks, absences, or as needed
- Oversee production floor activities, ensuring proper staffing, break coverage, and workflow continuity
- Monitor production KPIs and escalate issues when necessary
- Support coordination between production and warehouse functions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or related field
- Proven leadership experience in a warehouse setting, preferred

As a Production Associate at Proper Beverage Co., you will be responsible for supporting end-of-line production activities by removing finished goods from the line and efficiently stacking them on pallets for storage or shipment. This role also assists with responsibilities related to the Variety Pack line. You will contribute to the cleanliness and safety of the production area while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-of-Line Production Support
- Remove finished goods from the production line and stack them securely on pallets.
- Ensure accurate labeling, counts, and organization of pallets for storage or shipment.
- Assist with operational support of the Variety Pack line as needed.
- Work Environment
- Perform duties near machinery, forklift trucks, and other ancillary production activities.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation
- Operate filling machinery and related equipment during your assigned shift.
- Set up and adjust filling parameters according to production specifications.
- Quality Control
- Monitor the filling process to ensure accurate volumes and proper sealing of cans.
- Conduct quality checks and take corrective actions as needed.
- Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance on filling equipment.
- Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team for timely resolution.

- Perform basic cleaning tasks on production equipment, floors, walls, and general facility areas under supervision

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Machine Changeovers & Production Support
- Perform and lead mechanical changeovers on production equipment.
- Ensure machines are properly adjusted, set up, and verified prior to production startup.
- Work closely with production teams to execute efficient changeovers while minimizing downtime.
- Maintain readiness of equipment to support production.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Repair and Replacement

- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts.

Experience & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Maintenance experience, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards are not overlooked.
- Physical stamina to handle full shift of being active.
